Happy 4th of July!!

I hope everyone has a great Independence Day!  I decided to take some pictures of the boys this morning at the park. I was feeling a little down yesterday and I thought no better way to cheer me up then to take some pictures of my adorable boys at the park.  I am sure Brad was anxious to get out of the house this morning too. He was inside most of the day yesterday. On Tuesday, he fell and cut through his lower lip. He had to get four stitches on his inside lower lip. He is doing very well today. He is still having trouble eating and drinking but he is getting better. Hope everyone has a great day! Enjoy your day with your family and friends!  We are excited for a day at the grandparents and a firework show in the evening!

We Love Camping!

We finally did it!  We got our camper trailer!  Josh and I have been wanting a camper trailer for years and we either couldn't find what we wanted or decided against buying one. But we finally found our perfect camper.  It definitely was not easy. I couldn't decide whether I wanted a new camper or a vintage camper.  I love the old tear drop campers! But they were not for our family. I could never find one with a good layout or with all the features that we wanted to have.  We came across our perfect trailer a couple of weeks ago at Camping World. We have been getting it ready and we took it out this last weekend and had a blast.  We had a hard time deciding where to go on our first trip. We decided to go to Pendaries and I am so glad we did!  It was soooo nice! The weather was perfect! The boys had a blast and it was absolutely beautiful!! Here are a few pics of our first camping adventure! If you have not been to Pendaries you are missing out! We will definitely go back soon! :)

Preschool Graduation

I cannot believe it!  Connor graduated from preschool this week! He is officially going to be in Kindergarten. He is so excited to start to school- he woke up the next morning after graduation and asked if he started Kindergarten that day. It will be very nice having him at my school but it is so hard to see him grow up so quickly.  
Connor just finished his soccer team and we are ready for some summer fun. We hope to make many, many visits to the zoo and aquarium. He is enjoying his three millipedes that were leftover from our science kits at school. Connor is also looking forward to the spray park too. 
We are also trying to plan a small family trip to Denver for some family vacation. I have a huge summer reading list that I am very excited to begin.  I am almost done with the Mortal Instrument series and Inferno Device series. I am very anxious for the movie release in August!  
Bradley is getting big too! He is learning new words all the time. He likes to omit beginning sounds of words. For Connor, Onnor. For bunny, unny. For Doggie, oggie.  His favorite thing at the moment is climbing on high furniture. We have a very high dining room table and it is one of his favorite things to climb on. He is a lot of work at the moment. You cannot leave him alone for a second!

Wow! It's been a long time!

I cannot believe how long it has been since I have posted anything on my blog.  I have no excuse except for the fact that I have been busy and have not sat down to transfer pictures around and get them to my blog. The boys are doing great!  
Connor is finishing up preschool in May and will be a Kindergartner in August!  EEEEK!  I cannot believe he is going to be at my school with me.  He is really excited to start Kindergarten and be at my work with me.  He keeps thinking when he comes to first grade he will be in my class. HA!  Not going to happen. He is also enjoying soccer this spring.  Connor loves being a goalie, even though there is no goalie position in his division he still runs to the goal and protects it. He says that he is going to be a real goalie one day.  He also loves reading and drawing at the moment.  He is a really good artist- takes after his daddy, not me.  I  cannot even draw a straight line most of the time.  
Bradley keeps me on my toes all the time. There is never a dual moment with him.  He is always getting into something and always has a mission for destruction.  At the same time he has a heart of gold and loves his family and always is making us laugh at his silliness. Brad learns a new word or two every day. He sometimes makes up his own language and consistently uses those words in his every day vocabulary.  He is a character!  He loves music and dancing a lot and is actually very good at keeping a beat. Both the boys enjoy all different kind of music. Again, like dad.  Josh has a huge spectrum of music that he listens to and I only listen to one kind of music.  I have been branching a tiny bit, sometimes. 
Josh broke his ligaments in his shoulder a few weeks ago while mountain biking.  He is doing much better.  He thinks he will be back at work next week.  It has been nice having him home every day.  I love spending any extra time with my family that I can. He is even off during my spring break this week!  We went to the zoo today and we had a blast.  The boys were very happy to visit all the animals.  I will try to post more often.  I usually do better during the summer than the school year.  Hope everyone is doing well! Back to School

I cannot believe we area already back at school.  Our summer flew by and before I knew it, I was back at work setting up my classroom for my first graders.  I have a wonderful group of students this year. They are so sweet, smart and work really, really well together.  I am one lucky teacher!  

Connor also started preschool this year.  He is at Shining Stars Preschool and absolutely loves it.  He had a rocky first day. But since that day he has been an awesome student.  He really likes his teacher and is meeting a lot of new friends.  Connor is still enjoying golf!  He has been going every Saturday to his lessons and is actually doing very well.  His instructor says that he is very good for his age and that he listens and understands what to do very well.  I think he is going to be a natural athlete, like his daddy.  I am glad he didn't take after me- I am not good at any sports.  Connor is also starting soccer at the end of the month.  He has been asking to join soccer all summer and so we decided to enroll him in soccer instead of t-ball since he was very interested in playing.  

Bradley is almost a year!  I am starting to plan his birthday party.  I have been going back and forth on his theme for the party and we finally decided to do a 'little man' party.  It is all themed with suit-ties and mustaches.  It is really cute!  I got all my ideas from Pinterest, of course.  If you haven't seen the 'Little Man' theme, do a google search on it. Super adorable!  Bradley is also walking!!  I cannot believe he is already walking.  He has been taking steps for almost a month, but has been actually walking for a little over a week.  He is a very fast walker and is very determined to get where he wants to go.  Bradley is also the reason the reason they make baby-proof safety equipment.  He is constantly getting into things.  I don't think he spends a whole lot of time playing with actual baby toys.  He is always just looking for things he shouldn't be playing with.  He has also learned how to climb the stove- which is really scary.  He pulls out the drawer on the bottom, and uses it as a step, and them holds onto the oven door and tries to turn on the burners!  You cannot leave him alone for a second.  He is definitely a hand-full!  But he is also the most loving and sweetest boy in the world.  He is so cute when he blows his little kisses and repeats my name over and over again.

Where Does The Time Go??

I can't believe it is already June 18th! My summer is flying by so quickly. Sometimes I wish I could just slow down the time and savor every moment I have at home with my amazing family.  Not only do I get to spend some extra time with my precious boys, but I also get to spend so much extra time with Josh.  We are so lucky that he is off for four days in a row every week.  We finally narrowed down our family trip for the summer.  We are going to be heading to Denver in July with some friends and their kids.  We plan to go to the Denver Zoo which is a fantastic zoo to visit.  We also plan to go to the museum and butterfly pavilion.  I definitely am looking forward to our first family trip with Bradley. I am hoping his helmet is off by than, but we are not sure how much longer he has to wear it at this point.  Connor concluded swim lessons and t-ball, now he is starting golf lessons every Saturday morning at Sandia Casino.  He absolutely LOVES it!  He really enjoys the independence of the sport and is actually really good at hitting the ball. He is popping the ball and sending them over our back wall of our house.  Pictures to come soon!  I did take some new photos of Bradley in my bedroom the other day.  I need to start taking more photos!  I have been slacking in that department and I feel that I need to brush up on my photo skills.
